9 x 11.5” heat activated thermal laminating pouches for 8.5 x 11 standard letter size sheets are high clarity after adhesive is heat activated. The clear glossy finish protects and enhances colors. These laminates are 10 mil thick on each flap for maximum strength, rigidity and protection. This is the thickest standard pouch available on the market. ALERT: Many pouch laminators on the market can seal a maximum of only 5 mil pouches, so PLEASE make sure your laminator is capable of sealing 10 mil pouches prior to ordering. (If you don’t have your machine’s manual, a good reference is if your laminator has either a speed control OR a temperature control, it will likely seal 10 mil pouches). Note: Industry standard specification for 10 mil laminating pouches is 10 mil on each flap for a total of 20 mil added to your paper sheet. 1 mil equals 1/1000th of an inch (metric: 25 microns per mil). The industry calls these pouches, yet they are sealed on only one edge instead of three (like a file folder with a 3/32” spine).
